Study materials for nurses
The “Continuing Professional Education for Nurses Granted with a Diploma in General Nursing Outside the EU/EEA” project has developed free and open online courses designed for nurses seeking qualification training in Finland.
The Orientation to the Finnish Social and Health Care System MOOC (SOTE-MOOC) introduces qualifying nurses to the ethical guidelines and principles in nursing, patient and client safety, as well as the Finnish social and health care system and its regulatory framework.
The Health Care Finnish material supports the development of professional Finnish language skills at levels A2–B1. Additional resources include online skill workshops and a CV workshop.
The training has been funded by the Service Centre for Continuous Learning and Employment. The Service Centre promotes the competence development of working-age people and the availability of skilled labour. The operations of the Service Centre are overseen by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment.
